Thank you to the Kitchener Citizen who recently highlighted a fundraising program for Women’s Crisis Services.

We are excited to invite you or your business to be a part of this fundraiser.

There is no cost to you.

There is no labour for your or your employees.

The easel program is an easy way for your business to support Women’s Crisis Services, and in turn, the women and children who seek refuge in Anselma House, Haven House, or assistance through our Regional Outreach program.

Women’s Crisis Services relies on community support in order to offset our funding shortage between the number of beds for which we are funded and the number of women and children we actually serve.

This community support enables us not to turn women and children away who need to find refuge.

This is how it works:

A Creative Fundraisers employee will set up an easel with artwork at your location for a specified duration (2-4 weeks at a time). Your patrons can bid on the art. When the auction closes, a C.F. employee will remove the bids, that piece of art, and will replace it with a new piece of art. The successful bidder on the art will be contacted and C.F. will arrange delivery or pick up.  Proceeds will then be directed to Women’s Crisis Services.

NO WORK or MONETARY COMMITMENT from you or your business, but still the potential to have a large impact on Women’s Crisis Services.

We look forward to parntering with our community to help women and children live a life free of violence and abuse.
