Only 45 days remain……you don’t want to miss this event! We have a very special evening planned.
Each November, in recognition of Woman Abuse Awareness month, Women’s Crisis Services of Waterloo Region hosts a community awareness event.
For the past six years the venue has been full and the feedback incredibly positive.
This year, on November 5 to acknowledge our 7th year, we are incorporating the theme of the “What About The Kids?” and holding our event in Cambridge.
We are absolutely thrilled to have Dr. Peter Marshall as our keynote speaker for the evening. For the last 20 years, Dr. Marshall has worked in the field of adult, child and family psychology as a researcher, university professor, speaker and clinician in public and private practice. In the course of his career, Marshall has served on the Board of Directors for the Elizabeth Fry Society and the Children’s Aid Society. He taught psychology and psychiatry at Queen’s University, and was a staff psychologist at Kingston General Hospital. He also served as a clinical consultant to the Kingston Prison for Women and the Frontenac County Board of Education. He brings wit and wisdom to his presentations!
