Why Donate

Reasons to donate:

• Families need to live free from violence
• Women and children need a safe place away from abuse
• Both women and children need a place where they can learn to move beyond violence
• When you choose to make a donation to Women’s Crisis Services of Waterloo Region you ensure the children visiting our shelter have the necessary tools to move forward allowing them to be the best they can later in life; which will help to build a stronger community.

One time or Pledge gifts:

• Corporate financial gifts are greatly appreciated. We welcome your donation as a single gift or given as a monthly donation. 
• We rely on the generousity of individuals who donate on a yearly or monthly basis.

Memorial Gifts:

• Commemorate an occassion such as a loved ones birthday, wedding or other special occassion with a charitable donation to Women’s Crisis Services.

Securities/Life Insurnace:

• Your  gift of securities not only offers an opportunity to support Women’s Crisis Services and the work we do, it can also provide you with a major tax savings
• You can also make a bequest in your will or life insurance.  Bequests in your will can provide tax savings for your loved ones.
