A very generous gesture of support was delivered from Kathleen Locke, Branch Manager to Women’s Crisis Services. Raising funds within an organization to support our work also raises awareness among staff and clients. When YNCU chose to direct their causal Friday funds to us, they became advocates and educators.
This type of awareness will resonate with clients who visit the branch and with staff who learn that there is a safe place of refuge from abuse and violence.
