Over $10,000 raised on one day to support Women and their children moving beyond abuse

The statistics are alarming; 45% of Women’s Crisis Services (WCSWR) shelter clients are children, and most are under the age of 10. In any given year, this translates to over 200 kids who have been exposed to abuse and violence in their homes….the one place that should be the most secure and safe for them. Breaking the intergenerational cycle of abuse is critical to the reduction and moreover the eradication of violence against women. IMG_20150509_095030
