Join in as our community celebrates GivingTuesday with acts of generosity and support across Waterloo Region. Just as Black Friday kicks off the holiday shopping season, GivingTuesday is the first day of the giving season.
Women’s Crisis Services is funded to run 58 crisis beds for women and children escaping violence. We regularly serve over 65 and we need your help to provide for those in our care.
During GIVING TUESDAY and year round, you can see our sponsorship packages to provide programming and needs for our clients as you also provide encouragement, strength and hope.
Our Gifts of Support provide an overview of a need in shelter. You can choose which area you would like to support with your donation.
For example, $40 will provide lunch for a child in shelter for a week.
You can also visit our WISH LIST any time throughout the year. This is where we will list the items that we are able to accept and are in need of at Anselma House or Haven House.
Our wish list currently itemizes our gift card needs. By providing a gift card, you can give a woman independence, choice, encouragement and the ability for us to provide for the personalized needs of women and children healing from trauma and abuse.
