“Volunteers do not necessarily have the time; they just have the heart.”  – Elizabeth Andrew

“Preparing and serving the Friday Morning Breakfast to the residents and their children for the past 4 years has given me the opportunity to be around people and to give back to the community.  I enjoy walking to Anselma House in the early mornings, even on days like today of -30, as I always feel as if I am doing something good.  I like to be busy and I like being surrounded by people.  On other days you will find me in the community:  bowling, ice skating, playing darts, entertaining at home and also volunteering at “Out of the Cold” program where my husband and I serve meals and put beds out.  Simply put, the women appreciate the Friday Morning Breakfasts and I enjoy giving and getting out in the community.”

Thank you to our volunteers! Volunteers are critical to the success of our organization. Without their time and energy it would not be possible to accomplish all of the goals of our organization. THANK YOU!
